Hi there. I’ve been following this blog for a few weeks now and I had wanted to submit a picture that I think could be used for comparison as to how, exactly, so many of the rhetoric used to defend bikini armor could be easily subverted.

In the picture attached is Saber from the Fate/stay night series. She wields a weapon, a sword of magical properties, and also has some magical spells in her arsenal that she uses in battle. The armor she wears is one that she makes with her own magical energy, and is easy for her to repair as well as to dismiss with a wave of her arm. Despite it being made with magic, it still manages to look like armor that could be of practical use in an actual battle, and she wears greaves as well as gauntlets and a breastplate for protection. Although the armor is heavy, she has no problems moving with grace and agility even with all of the armor on. Her physical strength, on its own, wouldn’t be that much more than a mundane human, but she has a unique magical technique that more than makes up for that detriment. Her skill with a sword is unparalleled, and combined with her magical technique makes her a formidable opponent to face.

If she could use her own skills and magic to not only become a strong warrior, but to also be able to make herself magical armor that actually covers everything and could protect her from critical injuries, what excuse do the others have?

Took the liberty of bolding a few parts. Great submission, thank you so much for chiming in! 🙂
