A friend recently showed me Pyre and while watching the reveal trailer, I had to pause when the three main characters were shown without their hoods. I went to the wallpapers to double check that yes, the buff hulking warrior is a woman and the smaller, thinner character was a man. Not only that but in-game, all three characters are wearing very similar outfits.
This game instantly went on my Steam wishlist and I’m buying it the moment it’s available to throw money at.
This does look all kinds of amazing and is especially exciting given Supergiant’s other creations include Bastion and Transistor.
