I know it was 1984… and everyone in the western world had questionable taste – but can we stop and consider that people who thought of themselves as quite serious investors thought that this was a great way to sell what was supposed to be a serious fantasy recreation of the Yojimbo narrative.

(Brief note: Not only is the woman with four breasts not the sorceress character – but she’s actually wearing more than either her or the sorceress generally wears in the movie.)

(Second brief note: Please don’t watch this movie, it is not amazingly bad and not in a fun way.)

Thank goodness the world has improved and nobody would think this kind of ridiculous over sexualization was a good way to sell a remake of a dramatic movie…

But least it hasn’t warped perceptions…

This is why we can’t have nice things.
