I saw this the other day in a mall. That’s an advertisement for a sale in a cosmetics store.
I mean I get the concept behind it, be strong like a fighter but pretty as a lover, but…that single protected arm isn’t gonna help you.
Well, at least it’s not sexualized, just impractical…
This one is really interesting because usually we media creators clumsily try to make female armor like fashion accessories, leading to tacky and impractical designs that are more like cheap “novelty” lingerie than armor.
Here we have the beauty industry using a piece of actual armor as a fashion accessory while promoting makeup, and it works much better even when it’s being used as a rather… abstract accessory.
Make note: Real armor works better for everything!
