Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Hyrule Warriors almost had a badass female version of Link named Linkle?

Sad thing: the scrapped female Link/Link’s sister character for some reason worn basically a bikini top and apparently (in some images, at least) wasn’t supposed to have male Link’s signature white tight pants, just show off her thighs.
Sadder thing: in many aspects it’s still marginally better costume design than the non-armor Princess Zelda has in the actual game.
