That’s some legitimately good point about the “Wah! I hate her because I can’t fap to her anymore!” backlash that She-Ra reboot was the newest victim of.
As @scottpaladin’s reply in the same thread points out, in the magical land of the Internet nothing needs to be made as fap material to become fap material:
The “controversy” truly is about taking away diverse female rolemodels from impressionable young girl audience.
Which now explains quite well the opposition to She-Ra maybe becoming a “boyish lesbian”, in case anyone still doubted whether there’s homophobic intent behind >.>
