So, the new Fire Emblem on 3DS got announced…
Immediately, a certain female character gathered quite a number of followers.
How is she dressed you wonder?

I don’t even know what is going on in the lower bottom. Is that a flag?

Nintendo released a video showing its New Fire Emblem game and it looks really cool, but some of the armor is… questionable. Miss Purple Hair has some nice arm and waist armor, but they went the lingere route with the rest. Battle panties and a massive boob window don’t seem like a good choice for a war. The blond guy seems to be wearing very similar armor, but he gets to keep his pants on.
Fire Emblem has some really good examples of female armor, but then there are really bad ones like this. I never know what to expect.

At this point it’s just boring how “unique” her design is. A dress with crotch cut-out to see her panties nice and clear, the bubble breasts that have a weird belt jammed between them

image

..which reminds me a bit of this pointless and painful-looking “boob harness”.

So original! Much creative! Groundbreaking, even!

Surely this can’t be simple pandering, clearly there’s just some sort of complex message her that I can’t see because I’m not in the Fire Emblem fandom.  Let’s see what the fandom thinks of Camilla…

Don’t let the title fool you, Chainmail Bikini is an anthology of comics by gamer women on the theme of being female while gaming.  It covers all kinds of games and all kinds of issues.

The project has already been funded well past it’s goal and only has a few days to go. I felt that given the responses we’ve had from certain… rather negative parties who insist there’s no harm in objectification and exotification, I’d like to give this awesome Kickstarter a shout out.

So, no need to take my word for it – here’s a whole anthology of stories by women.  Plus it looks pretty damn awesome in it’s own right.

Empowered armor modification

I’ve just made armor “Because I can” for male. This armor is the part of my modification Viva le Chevalier. Please download it here.

The nipple pasties are such a nice touch!

Why don’t official game designs acknowledge that male nipples are also totally immoral? It should be all or nothing – bare nipples on every gender or pasties for everyone! ;P

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I’m not any good at being funny, but I needed to share this since it’s so perfectly bikini armour. Now, to preface, I’m not going to pretend that One Piece does its female characters and their clothing any kind of justice, since the longer the series goes on, the more clothing the two leading ladies lose… But then you have Rebecca…

Who literally wears a chainmail bikini. And her signature fight style isn’t fighting at all, it’s dodging. That’s right, her key strategy, in those clothes, is evasion. How is she not dead?

I can just see people going “But THAT’S THE POINT! Skimpy clothing compliments her fighting style!” at this.

First of all, as you said, dodging =/= fighting, so why the pretense of “warrior” outfit and weapon in the first place? Second, how does the use of dodging as a battle strategy guarantee you won’t ever get hit, and therefore won’t need actual protection?

And how is that scalemail bikini top supposed to work without a tit falling out?
