I’m both surprised and relieved that so far we didn’t receive any misguided messages suggesting that shirtless Goku is sexualized because muscles.
As a wise blogger once said, Dragon Ball Z is a quintessential male power fantasy. Warrior men in the series are roughly as “objectified” as Kratos or Conan.
It took a whole boyband song and sexy synchronised dance number to turn those proud Saiyans into pure fanservice! Merely tearing their shirts wouldn’t do.

Warhammer Vermintide

Have you seen the heroes for Warhammer: Vermintide? It’s an upcoming Co-op Horde Mode type game similar to Left 4 Dead. The two lady characters are pretty fantastic. There is a middle-aged badass fire wizard and an elven archer who is covered head to toe.
Given Games Workshop’s usual design policies, which are less than optimal, I’m going to assume this is more Fatshark Games’ doing. Thankfully it looks like they took a lot of inspiration from Left 4 Dead as well Warhammer.

We still do not agree that an occasional shirtless dude warrior balances out the tons of warrior ladies in generic armor bikinis. There’s a whole tag devoted to that.
