Basically unless you know to look for “Volume 3″ on their site, you won’t find it even though pretty much every other variant appears under the Vampirella umbrella.
For those interested in supporting the new Vampirella look, we highly recommend going to your local comic book store and asking if they have it in stock or can get it for you. If that’s not an option:
So, this is Marvel’s Angela outfit from Marvel Future Fight.
The awfulness of her original costume (up) has been pointed out multiple times, so I was really happy when I noticed the possible upgrade – her Secret Wars uniform is much more appropriate.
At least now she has a smaller chance of freezing to death.
Seeing Angela’s infamous costume in 3D form makes me wonder whether or not the game developers could recreate how inconsistent it looks in comics. That would be hilarious!
Really nice to have the blow softened by the Secret Wars AU version of the character also brought to life.
Even the way she’s posed for those screenshots informs us how vastly different is she framed in both continuities. Elseworld for the win.

@strawberryshakeus directed us to this thread which combined the usual claims that men can’t be empowered with a bizarre implied narrative that Star Sapphires (Pink Lanterns in all but name) shouldn’t have male members because they’re powered by Love (as opposed to Willpower for Green Lanterns or Rage for Red Lanterns).
Failing that, if male Star Sapphires must be allowed in the game, they shouldn’t dress provocativelyas female Star Sapphires tend to.

Content warning for sex worker-phobic language bit later (around 11:55) in the video.
Nostalgia Critic’s Spawn movie review took a shot at questioning randomly sexy assassin lady costume, which results in an exchange quite familiar to this blog:
-Anybody who dresses like that is NOT gonna take their job seriously.* -What am I supposed to wear? -Armor, bulletproof vest, a mask to hide your face! -How are people supposed to know that I’m a woman? -It doesn’t matter if you’re a woman. It’s actually better if they don’t know you’re a woman, because then you’d be harder to find!
Bonus points for this particular character being one of antagonists, which feeds squarely into “evil is sexy” cliche.
Especially since all her killer co-workers, including pre-Spawn Al Simmons (who she replaces as the top assassin), dress sensibly.
* We assume Doug meant any job where serious personal injury is a regular risk.
I remember when the Spawn movie flopped, the creator of the franchise, Todd McFarlane, blamed the director for taking too much creative license (which was hilarious in itself McFarlane himself left Marvel due to them not allowing him enough creative license).
