A battle-hardened woman in dark-colored armor and messy hair? Yes, please.

Speaking of My Hero Academia, the official stage play costume designers also agree that Momo would not dress like that if she was a real person.
It’s almost as if suspiciously many of female comic/cartoon character outfits were not designed to be worn by actual humans…
And for those already furiously replying how her power set requires exposed skin, note the life-action version’s most crucial improvement: a zipper.
Wow, now she can just unzip to do the freaky shit with her chest and belly skin and just zip back after she’s done? Who would have thought? ╮(╯ل͜╰)╭

PS: We didn’t bring attention to that in our last MHA post, because the OP, @bumbleshark, already said in in their part – but most of those characters are middle-school aged. Let that sink in.
So a lot of people are talking about many aspects of Apex Legends and there’s a lot of positives – a non-binary character, a character with a same-sex relationship in their background (mentioned immediately), not just one but two playable black women characters… but not enough people are talking about how awesome Bangalore’s outfit is.
This is the default outfit, and it looks every inch her description according to the background fluff the official site provides.
Interestingly it appears the Bangalore has the opposite of the Creepy Marketing Guy syndrome… the concept art displayed is much more… regular video game.
This is a trend I would very much like to take off like wildfire.

An excellent positive example of fantasy armor that is both lavish and regal, yet functional, battle hardened and just positively badass. Bonus points for the artist giving her a great looking battle scar.
The turnaround above gives a good view of the armor overall, but I highly recommend visiting the ArtStation page linked above to get a more in depth look. The artist has put so much beautiful and astonishing detail, it boggles the mind.
It’s almost criminal that this hasn’t gotten more attention; I would love to see this in a game.
This is a bit too over-designed for my taste, but I definitely agree that this is a design more likely to be given to a man character.
And her scar is pretty nice! Definitely check this piece out on Artstation for detail shows and workflow breakdowns, if you’re into that kind of thing.

What a cool concept, and a cool mashup of armor styles! Even though it’s medieval breastplates with modern helmets, it still looks good and cohesive. I also really like the way they represent motor companies, like in a real racing sport. We really need more creative ideas like these in fantasy.
