We got a few requests for us to take a look at this… and well at least they didn’t give her buttsock pants.
By itself Supergirl’s outfit in IGN’s latest Injustice 2 video is a bit of a step back but nothing immediately disastrous. Taken in context with some other factors such as the previous outfit shown, the choice of dummy opponents and the scene where Supergirl takes Wonder Woman for a trip past the Sun so the audience can admire Wondy’s butt… and it’s frankly disheartening.
It’s not so much the bare arms but rather the shift in priorities in the to make her costume to highlight her boobs, trying to make her bright and cheery (contrary to the setting) and use Wonder Woman to supplement the T&A content.
Creepy MarketingGuy’s fingerprints are all over this one.
Now, this is is the sort of empowerment that Blizzard should be providing for their male heroes in these trying times. Look at that confidence and badassery – plus the sexual empowerment of being willing to let you see all his piercings (or is it just most of his piercings… if you know what I mean)
Here’s hoping someone on the Overwatch team latches onto this idea and lets it inspire their next Hanzo skin.
There’s so many great concepts here that could inspire empowered heroes and spinoffs. Things could become so great if more creators looked to images like these for inspiration.

So, this game called Breakaway that seems to want to sort of pitch itself a multi-player battle game… but is apparently more of a sports game… so why are the characters all dressed like this? And why named off historical or mythological figures?
Let’s take a moment of thoughtful appreciation for the fact that they devoted an article to concisely sum up a huge chunk of our “creative freedom” tag.

The ongoing saga of people getting outraged that Blizzard uses their beta period as a beta period and adjusts the game. It’s worth mentioning that Blizzard also removed a tasteless masturbation joke at the same time.
Ordinarily we wait longer before we bring back posts but it seems that there’s been a recent event involving a certain product we post about from time to time, and the response by certain demographics has been woefully predictable.
In case you missed it: Blizzard has revealed via a comic for people who enjoy Overwatch and want more fluff (x): Tracer lives with her female romantic partner. How did the aforementioned demographic reply?
So yes, predictably it turns out that the people who are used to being pandered to constantly don’t actually appreciate creative freedom – they just think it makes a cool catchphrase (or magic incantation in some cases).
There was, however, a bright side: the response from women who celebrated that Overatch’s mascot character was confirmed to a lady attracted to ladies, and loudly reaffirmed their appreciation of as well as their right to representation. That was truly awesome.
