I feel like @copperbadge should be tagged for this.
We can ONLY DREAM.
I want to know what sort of stays are needed to keep that from flapping and how it won’t end up puncturing a lung. It’s beautiful and I want fiction exploring these and other questions.
I feel like maybe he has that “invisible” lycra on under it like figure-skaters are required to use to hold their bits of their costumes together.
Okay, that is some FINE redesign of Nomad’s classic outfit into MCU costume style! @hopeless–geek has legit understanding of what were the most iconic parts of the original and translated them really well into how Marvel heroes dress in the films.
I mean, if Steve does abandon the name of Captain America in the movies, why wouldn’t he go for the empowerment of deep cleavage?
As we made a point before, a lot of unironic masculine equivalents to standard female sexualization come from gay or otherwise LGBTQ male artists.
And @bearsionated’s OSO project is no different: reimagining various Super Smash heroes as human bears (stocky, hairy gay dudes). Now that’s some quality balance to, say, turning pokemon into underclad generic waifus. Except the art is so much better, more creative and varied, even though all characters fit one beauty type!
Daughters of Persephone! My women only Space Marine Chapter. Not my best illustration work, but its really starting to take too much time for a quick fan work / colour concept, and I should work on more original works really (though I’ll probably end up doing other fan stuffs :P)
Threw together another quick sketch, playing with the general out of armour look.
I like this interpretation of the black carapace.
It’s going to happen sooner or later
You keep telling yourself that lol
Yeah…
Just remember there is more ‘Daughters of Persephone’ where that came from 🙂
Warhammer 40k bros are the epitome of fragile geek masculinity*
To them, not only women as Space Marines simply can not be a thing, because arbitrary fluff reasons – Emperor God forbid any fan dared to draw, let alone customize some figures of them! Literally. We’re talking about the Toxic Masculinity Brigade yelling “Heresy!” at anyone who even mentions the possibility of a female Astarte existing.
See all of @pantmonger‘s awesome Daughters of Persephone art + some commentary regarding detractors in one post here.
Was scrolling through @bikiniarmorbattledamage and was inspired to do a couple of redesigns. First is Cat from Gravity Rush (which I’ll confess I haven’t played and it seems kinda fun but how does that outfit even work) and second is Wonder Woman because I saw what she looks like in the movies and just thought ugh.
