Believe it or not, this series is actually supposed to be a slightly tongue-in-cheek fantasy series somewhat akin to Conan or Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser… only apparently if you make one of the wandering thief/warrior/mercenary protagonists a woman… this happens.

Wonder Woman’s top… good lord that top…

While I can’t even figure out how those straps are supposed to work, they are surprisingly not used to hold on her breastplate, but rather the baby on her back.  The breastplate is being held on by such tiny threads, they don’t even show up in this shot.

You can see them here though.

Not that they help much.

[weary sigh]

Continuing with the theme of creators who spend a lot of time looking at lingerie catalogs and learning the wrong lessons.  Now, technically the art for this comic is done by Eduardo Risso, but I think it’s safe to blame Frank Miller for this concept given that while Risso does tend to heavily sexualise his female characters, his previous Wonder Woman art was nowhere near this bad.

image

And this case it appears that DC Comics realized in advance who ridiculous this costume was and tried to conceal it’s true nature on the cover:

Another company might have simply decided the costume was ridiculous when the concept was proposed and had them create a more viable alternative.

So yeah… Heroes of Order and Chaos is kind of interesting in that it’s very adamant that it’s the first MOBA on smartphone… and yet seems to be the most generic MOBA thought up by copying other MOBAs ads:

So naturally the most important design aspects for the female characters are boobs, legs, boobs, sameface, boobs and um… hair.

Dear The Chosen, I’m at a loss at words… Seriously, at this point why bother putting any clothes on them? Do they even wear anything below the waist? Just cut to the chase, and make straight out porn, who are you kidding with this “game”…?

Watching the video the women do seem to have more clothed versions as well, but all the screenshots and most of their video appearances feature the mostly naked version, clearly showing which one the developers felt more important. (Marked the “looks nothing like the male version” because, though not a single male character appears in CG form, the sprites look significantly more covered. Though they aren’t all necessarily the same outfit, but at least the “armoured” girl qualifies as roughly the same.)

For the record here are the more covered versions from the video:

Even these would manage to score a few marks on the bingo.

The combination of the highly original title and these screencaps makes me think that since this game is NOT a fantasy beauty pageant adventure (where 50% of the pageant is the swimsuit section).

Instead it’s apparently (based on reviews) a super generic RPG that asks the question “Will you become the Chosen?”, suggesting that they missed the whole point of being a “Chosen” is someone else chooses you.

Unsurprising that they chose to promote it by showing the characters transform from “fully” clad to underwear. It’s not like they bothered to offer anything else.
