So, I decided to play a game called Aurcus Online, these are the two player characters. Hopefully I got all the right tags.
I’m really curious how they managed to have a few common traits but still have her outfit look so removed from his. Did one of them have their design revised many times and the other just get signed off on first draft?

Okay so… there’s so much to unpack here but I’d just like to focus on
- Dudes get cool costumes based off various power fantasy tropes, women get ridiculous outfits
- Apparently people in this world who aren’t white or Asian are… weird shark monsters or horrible witchdoctor tropes.
Apparently the developers over the game do know how to make a badass female character though, just they keep leaving her out of group shots:
Meanwhile the creators of the comic seem to have created a new female character just for the comic, what kind of role does she have….
This is why we can’t have nice things.

Okay… I guess this summary image was chosen perfectly…
Because I was almost willing to leave this since Richenal is supposed to be a dancer… then I saw she had combat stats and made the mistake of clicking on the wiki’s front page to get more information about the game.
