This is the laziest ad campaign ever
Makes me wonder who was first to come up with this INGENIOUS warrior woman design: Game of War or Nords: Heroes of the North.

It’s been pointed out to us, that it seems now EVERYONE* can be Artemis! Though the outfits for some Artemis are somewhat different:
Of course, given that some characters were already named and had specific roles within the game already… some changes had to be made.
So it seems that in the world of Game of War, everyone has had to surrender their identity to be known as Artemis. Is this why they fight? Possibly, but more likely it’s that they didn’t want to think of more incredibly creative names or risk having to pay their creative/design team a cent more than they absolutely need to in order to make minimum viable product

By now I should really know better than to get excited when I see a new fighting type game has been released on the “female protagonist” tag on Steam.

First, looking at those designs, I thought this must be some kind of spinoff to Scarlet Blade (a sure sign of creativity!). But when that turned out to be a wrong assumption, I noticed the title (which totally doesn’t try to sound like a certain Nintendo property): Smashing the Battle.
Think I fixed it.

Armstreet steel plate legs. Heavy? Yeah. Impossible to move in? Absolutely not. Girls can totally wear armour. I see a hundred girls run around in armour every week. Maneuverable and sexy 😉
I love this not only for the demonstration of how proper plate armor still allows for quick and agile movement without great strain – but also the kind of gear worn under the armor (namely the arming belt).
Not only is plate armor designed for vigorous activity (battles are an amazing workout), to allow for denting, but also gear like arming belts that sit beneath it. It can have fitted parts, but it’s never going to be form fitting.
