Pocket Masters

So, remember that time we proclaimed Pokemon isn’t legible franchise to talk about on BABD?

Someone who seems totally unafraid of Nintendo’s legal team decided to change it with “Pocket Masters”, a game that totally isn’t infringing on anyone’s intellectual property.

@foldablehuman directed us at this shameless attempt at passing Pokemon gijinka as a base for a completely new, definitely creative and not illegal game. Behold the glory od Sandrew and Golbart (original characters, do not steal!):

Tidy Up Tuesday #24

This week:

BABD seems to have reached a spurt in non-follower activity, so here is a reminder: This is our FAQ. Those are the commenting rules. We also have an extensive rhetoric tag, topped with the Female Armor Rhetoric Bingo game, where we address virtually every pervasive argument regarding sexualization of female warriors in fiction.

We’d appreciate if everyone who’s replying to us familiarized themselves with all of the above beforehand.

Children of Zodiarcs – A new Tactical JRPG by AAA veterans

Children of Zodiarcs – A new Tactical JRPG by AAA veterans

This actually looks pretty amazing and something that I feel confident supporting.  It’s a JPRG (in the sense the characters are created for you, not in the sense of being from Japan) with two well clad female leads and not even a whiff of trying to use sex to sell.

It’s already over 200% of the funding goal, so it’s guaranteed to go ahead at this point and it’s being made by industry veterans.  I am really looking forward to it’s release!
