really like plate armors. I often thought elves’ armors in fantasy
settings are lacking protections here and there. This is my attempt at
correcting that while still maintaining the curved, flowing, Elfy
feelings. I might do the helmet for this later. Enjoy painting!

Wonder whether by “Elves’ armors in fantasy settings are lacking protections here and there” the artist was making a not-so-sneaky reference to bikini armor 😉
Anyway, they did accomplish making this a practical and elf-like design, I’d say.

A very elegant design with lots of lovely details. I really love the green chainmail! Besides the engraved leaves, the rounded pointed shapes of the armor itself reinforces the elven aesthetic, as Tolkien as it may be.
