So, at first glance BloodRealm was just another Facebook/Android/Steam game that was doing the ever popular rip off mythologies for names and ideas while ignoring the actual stories. (And of course there’s an obligatory Red Sonja ripoff) Until I got to Nemain (the bottom image) who is supposed to be a Gaul goddess.
Now, briefly glossing over that the Gauls made such great armor that the Roman invaders incorporated aspects such as mail into their own gear – this is perhaps the worst boobplate I have ever seen.
Not only is it supposed to be “armor” that is form fitting, it actually appears to be so flimsy and thin you can see her areola underneath it… and it has this weird sliver of underboob in the middle but only on one side.
I guess maybe they figured since everything else about this game was going to painfully generic and dull… they wanted to pioneer new ways to make terrible boob armor. If that’s the case, I think they succeeded.

A friend suggested to me to bingo Tier Harribel from Bleach in her final form. And it kind of broke my mind. Not just by how amazingly bad it is, but how it builds on top of problems with her previous appearance.
Initially it seems that the two main issues with her original design are the bared belly and the jacket that is boobsock-y (also underboob-y, in manga)…
…then we get to see what she looks like with that top open and, well…
Hopefully I’m not the only person who finds the face to be the least shocking thing she kept hidden under that top.
And yes, apparently her bingoed form is also more underbooby in the manga.
Obviously none of her male friends get such an “empowered” update.

Preemptive warning to those who are typing lore-heavy responses:
The fact that she’s a supernatural creature rather than a mortal human and that the white bone-like parts (including the nipples, *shudder*) are remnants of her older form does not justify the obvious sexualization of the design.

Hey, hey, you know how people always rush to say that Bayonetta isn’t sexualized because she’s designed by a woman – specifically Mari Shimazaki? This is her design for Taki (who we’ve featured before) in Soul Calibur: Lost Swords.
Can you believe this game is closing next month? It’s almost like “sex sells” is a myth…

I am actually really disappointed here – this has nothing to do with #Minecraft, and I really thought this game was better than that!
This appears to be armour based on the drawing of the top, then lingerie based on the apparent cloth for the bottom half. And that underboob is flagrantly overdone. I think they forgot the boob is actually attached to the chest on the bottom, not just the top. Or there is a REALLY tight band going underneath the boobs that is folding them over, very painfully I’d imaging. Even if that’s the case, I think physics would suggest that they would still fall out, at least as far as seeing the nipples. Also fun if you turn the picture sideways – the absurdity is even more obvious.
To be fair I suspect this wasn’t an ad put together by Minecraft but by someone who got an affiliate account at a Minecraft Hosting company and gets a commission for every customer who rents a server through them. Particularly since it was on Project Wonderful (which is for small creators to advertise, not massive corporations).
So naturally they assumed that people who want to play Minecraft dont’ know what Minecraft looks like, and really love underboob.
