A year later, this is still legitimately a better explanation for how bikini armor works than most of the ones we receive from consumers and creators alike.

I’m completely serious about this, but of course, a huge part of it is that the trope is so accepted in media now that creators don’t even bother trying to explain how it works – they just say why they wanted to do it.

Or y’know, well people they will be ashamed when they see the female character’s words and deeds… somehow.
