I should preface this by clarifying two important points: Lying Cat and Saga are both unreservedly awesome. The comic is great for it’s depictions of female characters and avoids all the bikini armor cliches… and Lying Cat is well… Lying Cat.

It’s still kind of worrying that fictional animals regularly get better armor than fictional female warriors.
