A few things to cover.

For Female Armor Bingo we will only publish submissions that are for commercial artworks, that means ones created as part of a product of some sort.  We won’t be publishing personal artworks even if they are by commercial artists and/or featured on portfolio sites such as Art Station or even the artist’s own site.

Things we have covered previously:

• Yes, Zarya from Overwatch is “based” on a Blizzard employee – in that she is Russian and has (allegedly) facial features and hair based off that employee (or rather hair based off how they wore it at one time), not in her physique/scars/tattoos/etc.
• This adorable kitty in leather armor, and many other well protected animals.

There are very few reasons that are actually an explanation why a costume would be exused – and many, many reasons why it shouldn’t be.  “Other characters don’t wear armor so sexualized attire for the women is fine” or “the stupid armor leads to their death”.

---

For our recommendations we have a tag and for PC games in particular we have a Steam Curator/Store Page – also a Steam Group.

---

Please don’t send us corrections for Female Armor Bingos, especially submissions, there is no prize for the bingo and we’d prefer to keep the focus on the eternal question of “Why does this keep getting published?”

Just a few things to tidy up this week.

---

Because our focus is on critiquing commercial media, we will only be featuring artwork made with strictly commercial intent.  That is, it was made to either be sold, sell something or otherwise promote something on a market.

We do not critique personal artworks on the blog, we do however feature them as positive examples, parodies and commentary where appropriate.

---

We rarely have time to respond to all submissions or questions individually, so if you’ve sent us something and haven’t seen a mention please be aware it might be featured in the the future, sit in our drafts for a while or appear in the next Tidy Up Tuesday.

---

Currently we’re not able to provide specific advice/feedback on armor designs, however there may be an offshoot blog to deal with that in the near future.
