Comedy writing rule of thumb: addressing an inherent problem with what you’re replicating and then failing to illustrate the absurdity or even why it’s a problem means you fail to make it satire.

Especially when your “joke” consists the same excuses that everyone and their mother was making for ages.

For any aspiring games developers out there who thought they’d use this “joke” take note – this was first released in 1991.  That’s nearly a quarter century ago and quite possibly before you were born.

Even though apparently there are panties in there, I’m crossing “No underwear” because of the ridiculous negligence in the boob area. I’m still amazed (but not impressed) how popular this cut of boob “support” is in porny-but-not-really designs.

How about you just don’t look at that art, let them do what they’re doing, and appreciate the character regardless." like no offense but if you wanna draw a female wow character in bikini plate you will not run into much of a shortage, is expressing annoyance with artists who cant even draw one woman in full armor when that’s clearly how she designed really that much of an infringement upon artistic freedom & integrity or whatever. is it really worth this level of defensiveness 

Words of truth regarding the tired old ”creative freedom“ (a.k.a. ”leave the artists alooone!“) argument for defending bikini armors. Bolding mine.

Give me a videogame with an option for skimpy bikini armor on both genders but if you wear it your character dies really easily so you have to be really skilled at the game in order to play with said armor

filipfatalattractionrblog proposed something similar once, with skimpy armor making you more vulnerable, but gaining you stamina-based accomplishments.

I really wanna see such mechanic employed in a big name mainstream game.

In before people start citing a bunch of RPG-type games where you can remove your gear: It’s not the same as having actual gear that showcases the absurd extra danger of bikini armor within the mechanics.  Even if it diminishes general stats.

It’s just not the same for really highlighting how exposed that gear would make you, and gives you suitable feedback for overcoming it.
