This is the laziest ad campaign ever

Makes me wonder who was first to come up with this INGENIOUS warrior woman design: Game of War or Nords: Heroes of the North.

It’s been pointed out to us, that it seems now EVERYONE* can be Artemis! Though the outfits for some Artemis are somewhat different:

Of course, given that some characters were already named and had specific roles within the game already… some changes had to be made.

So it seems that in the world of Game of War, everyone has had to surrender their identity to be known as Artemis.  Is this why they fight?  Possibly, but more likely it’s that they didn’t want to think of more incredibly creative names or risk having to pay their creative/design team a cent more than they absolutely need to in order to make minimum viable product

Nothing says savage like Vampirella costume in tigerstripe with the boots extended to thigh highs! 

And I mean that quite literally since she comes from Hero Graphics/Heroic Publishing does primarily publish Champions which was perhaps the most derivative superhero universe (and has been so since the 80s).  However apparently their latest focus (according to their site) is:

“Sexy and powerful super-heroines and awesome, fun to read comics featuring fantastic Good Girl Art by some of the best artists in the universe!”

And they haven’t shifted their focus to porn… this is just apparently their best idea for how to market superhero comics.

 This so perfectly encapsulates approaches to character roster in both games!

Character creation assignment: Add a mecha pilot to the cast of your multi-player FPS. Who will they be?
Blizzard: How about… a young, thin, conventionally attractive girl? Something we totally don’t have a surplus of in the game! 
Gearbox: Hm… A cute and BADASS engineer penguin!

Truly, Overwatch are the masters of creativity and diversity!

Oh pirate ladies, why be genuinely intimidating or interesting like pirate men, when you can show boobs?

Funny thing how they literally copied characters from Pirates of the Carribean, not caring about either Disney or the actors suing for infringement… but for “sex sells” reasons they had to add in some generic deep-cleavaged lady who looks absolutely nothing like Keira Knightley.
Dunno if it’s more insulting to the actress, cause someone didn’t think her face was worth using like mugs of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush, or respectful, cause in that case those boobs would be painted on her.
