So a while ago we talked about Arkham Knight and in the comments discussed ways Poison Ivy could be made to look powerful and dangerous; or how to make her look powerful, seductive and deadly.

While I am not too thrilled with most of the other female characters in DC’s Infinite Crisis MOBA… when it comes to Poison Ivy I have to say:

Bingo done by our reader nibelung

The more images of Niele’s outfit I manage to find and the more I have her “reasons” for it explained, the less sense she makes.

As nibelung informed us, she’s not even choosing to dress like that, her magic staff MAKES her clothes transform into… whatever that’s supposed to be.
She even gets berated for being coerced into wearing only belts. The speech bubble in the fourth image translates to “Don’t you have any shame?”.

Because that’s so totally is a fool-proof excuse for having a character run around virtually naked: “A wizard magical artifact did it!

While there’s much debate over whether the game is empowering or exploitative, satirical or failing at being satire, Juliet Starling’s Sexy Rider outfit from Lollipop Chainsaw does have one quality that made it perfect for bingo.

It’s the outfit that Jessica Nigri was wearing during her tour as a booth babecostumed representative at PAX when she was asked to change into something less provocative or stay off the floor.  So let’s see how it looks on a real person who is more or less the right build for the character:

Yeah, this is why we have difficulty taking people seriously when they insist there’s nothing wrong with these kinds of outfits – you can totally look like a badass in them.
