Okay, I’m not an expert on public relations or marketing, but I think that if you’re trying to offer a female protagonist to smooth over some fan outrage over poor handling of female characters… perhaps dress her in something more substantial than a swimsuit that’s been altered by drunk with scissors.

Actually I’d probably do that regardless of my motivations.

(Sadly I’m unable to find any official imagery that provides a better look at the outfit, but I think it’s pretty telling that fan art is already divided on whether she has sections of white cloth to facilitate modesty/costume viability or not)
