Bikini Armor Battle Damage turned 1 today!

The site (albeit created three days in advance) officially started on March 1st 2013. See the very first post here.
After a year of existing Bikini Armor Battle Damage has 970 followers, 260 posts (including this one) and is officially affiliated with such blogs as eschergirls (one of its major inspirations) and repair-her-armor (which I personally consider BABD’s younger more successful sibling ;P).

Although the original intent was to be run by user-submitted examples of what wearing skimpy “armor” would result in, the blog ultimately focused equally on various resources and commentaries regarding female armor, parodies of skimpy warrior wear and positive examples of women who dress reasonably to fight.

BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO FOLLOWED, LIKED AND REBLOGGED FROM HERE THROUGHOUT THOSE 12 MONTHS!
Special shout-out to those of you who asked, submitted and commented so far!
Don’t forget that askbox, submit site and Disqus comments are always open. Submissions regarding the unpleasant results of wearing bikini armors are always the most encouraged!

Stay tuned, for later today I’m planning to publish the special project I started for BABD months ago. First anniversary seems like the best time to release it 🙂
