The battle thong is truly one of the most ridiculous tropes in female armor – not because of anything inherently wrong with thongs but rather so many creators inability to grasp that they are tiny bits of underwear that rub very intimate bits.
I get it, butts are fantastic to look at – but there’s times and a places for showing off your ass and none of those are in the middle of a battlefield.

Hell, we can even see the Oni’s underpants! Now give both of those gentlemen sultry poses and flirty expressions and we’re be on good way for male empowerment.
I wanted to congratulate ASTA for not going with the trite “sex sells” advertising, but of course that’s what I found upon further googling:
By no way the worst we’ve seen and there are better female designs the game is promoted with, so let’s be cautiously optimistic?

Keeping track of what’s going across various media can be an emotional rollercoaster sometimes.
Part of me thinks that Knight Girl is a contender for @boobsdontworkthatway but I the rest of me is too busy wondering if she’s supposed to have a skin-tight cuirass or if the idea is she’s totally forgone protecting her torso in favor of showing off how trim she is.
