Tired Warrior
My wonderful grandmother passed away earlier this summer; I wanted to make a painting in her honor. It isn’t meant to look like her so much as invoke the peaceful feeling of her. Her favorite birds were cardinals and her favorite flowers were irises, so I included both. <3

What a lovely illustration! I think the intended peaceful mood was conveyed beautifully. In terms of the armor, I love the slight decorative elements, even though most of it is plain and functional. It gives the sense that the knight has risen in the ranks since she first started out. I also love the scarf and the helmet.
